Bone Jour Inc. is owned & operated by Becky Pugh, an Arkansas native with a background in art & public relations. Becky opened Bone Jour in Georgetown in 1986, where she hosted dog birthday bashes & baked dog biscuits, before switching her focus to the growing demand for grooming. In 1991, she moved the business to Bethesda, where Bone Jour operated on St. Elmo Avenue for more than 20 years. A 2020 expansion to a new location on Del Ray Avenue has allowed us to grow our service offerings to include daycare, boarding, & even bring back dog parties! From day one, our mission has been to provide people & their dogs with a loving, happy environment for services & retail. Providing award-winning services to the DC & Bethesda communities for more than 3 decades, we are grateful to be a part of so many wonderful families & their dogs' lives. These relationships & our dedication to the craft of grooming & the care of dogs are the reason Bone Jour has flourished & continues to grow.
